I recently bought a watercolor moleskine, and I deliberated quite a bit about it because the weight was good but I felt it was too textured for anything but watercolor and also didn’t like the landscape format

but actually I just tried a pencil on it and it came out really great! I’ll scan when I get access to a decent scanner (no idea how the konbini ones are) but yeah.

I’m using my sketchbook again so I’ll get back to posting soon. :)

I’m in Japan so there’s not a lot of time to draw, let alone post :( when I figure out a place to put it in my schedule I’ll try posting again, but my priorities are finishing college applications and surviving everyday so it might be a minute.

Went to Blick’s today and got stuff! They were out of pentel pocket brush pens so I bought a couple of prismacolor brush tip markers and wow

I like them a lot more than I thought I would

so when I can get my hands on a decent camera, I’ll probably be uploading my sketchbook doodles aw yiss

I wish I had the SAI with png transparency. White background are so boring.

I haven’t been able to draw anything serious so I decided to do this challenge. 

So have a tiny, a tall, and a drunk Claydol. At least it’s a good exercise, right?

So per my earlier whine, I’m going to be using this blog for writing as well as art. When I start uploading, I’ll tell you what tag it is so you can block if you only want to see drawings :P
